Thankyou to all those who came to help removing the exotic weed "wandering jew" in the glade. There is masses of it so we could only tackle the first bank on the left when walking towards the beach. A fantastic effort was made by all resulting in a huge weed pile which we will cover in black plastic in the next few days so it will be "cooked" by the sun. Special note must be made to Alastair who bought a ladder to remove the weeds from the cliff face.

We intend to follow up on this in a couple of months to revisit the area cleared this month to get the regrowth. If we are persistent at monitoring the regrowth we should be able to remove this. In the meantime, whenever you are walking through the glade, feel free to rip up some wandering dew and put it in the bins provided by Bush and Beach.
